I was invited, with 7 other Culture Wall (mural) artists, to create a special exhibit for the Downlands College Art Exhibition in 2017. Women in Work was the theme of the original mural in Dent St which was commissioned by QIC Shopping centres. This off-shoot image pays homage to a woman who led a very sad life. The image makes reference to two China crockery patterns - the Willow Pattern (about a tragic Chinese love story), and the Royal Dalton Royal Albert English Roses, both relevant to her particular story.
